Default WTB: Power supply for E-1

I want to do some time lapse photography and would like to use external power. So, I'm looking for a second hand but still functional external power adapter for the E-1.

Alternatively, I can modify an 'emergency' battery holder PS-LBH1 W. So if anyone have one of those for sale, I would be interested.

    Cheers, Jens.

I looked for you on olympus auctions on e-bay, but nothing.
I will keep looking for you there, and if something pops up, I will buy it immediately.
Also if you notice something, please don't hesitate to call me, send me email etc.

    Thanks Bojan,

I'll keep that option in mind. Hopefully I will find a second hand one because, as you know, it will not be effortless to relay it to Sweden.

    Thanks Johannes,

let's give the search for an AC-1 a couple of days and I'll then let you know.

    Hello,
I know they have one in Calgary, Canada at the Camera store. Saw it there lying in a big bin. Price was $160 (plus tax). I pulled it out and it was new. That was about 2 month ago and then I saw it again 1 week ago.

Hmmm, has the Canadian $ gone that much higher that the US $? Or is the store gouging you even more than normal? In the US, the MSRP is $130. Like normal, Olympus seems to go out of its way to overprice the accessories, and then no doubt wonders why nobody buys them and eventually dumps some on ebay (I think I've seen them for $30 the few times Olympus America has them on auction). Of course, I think it is insane that they use a special plug used nowhere else, to prevent you from making your own cord at Radio Shack.

Yes, the price is why I haven't considered ordering a new one. It is just ridicilous.

    Cheers, Jens.

I'll pay $25 for a broken power suppy with a functioning connector.

I noticed that Willoughby's has a special on them at $88; I suspects that this is better than eBay prices, although still quite high:

    Good luck!,
