    Default The Light

The day had been fully overcast and the lighting flat all morning. Then, briefly, there was a minor break in the clouds and just a little brighter light touched the nearby vegetation.

Very beautiful. I can almost feel the cold. Nice work.

A good sense of depth and I like the near monotone of the image

Thank you. I'm not too sure that the image reaches the level of post card.

Thank you. I find it a little difficult to deal with images that have snow as the subject.

I like the near-monotone effect with this as well, E.B. That was difficult light, with the snow and near flat light/sky. I think you made it work quite well!

    Thumbs up Re: The Light

    Very nice EB!
Looks like the 14-35 and auto WB did pretty good in the difficult lighting!

Thank you. I have more snow shots on the way, most of which I like better than this one.

Thank you. The 14-35mm is by far my favorite lens and I haven't found anything it doesn't do well. I've had no complaints about the auto WB on the E-3. I'll be interested in seeing if I can detect any difference in performance with the new firmware upgrade installed.

Very nice composition. The depth is incredible. And, the snow wb is good also.
    Cheers, and God bless

Thank you. The lighting does help considerably with giving the image a sense of depth.
