    Default Damselflies

    More from my canoe trip:

    E-330, 70-300 @ 300mm, ISO 200, 1/320 f7.1

    E-330, 70-300 @ 300mm, ISO 200, 1/400 f7.1

    E-330, 70-300 @ 263mm, ISO 200, 1/400 f8

I'm really enjoying this lens' macro capabilities. Any comments appreciated!

It looks really peaceful and quiet there... been looking forward to seeing what you found. Very nice photos, did you use auto focus?
All that I share with you is purely my personal perspective based on my own experiences. Feel free to constructively criticize my opinions and my photos, please!

I believe I used AF for these shots, but I had to keep it in the S-AF+MF as a means of keeping it from going through the whole focal range all the time by grabbing the focus ring when it seemed to be going astray.

There's more from the trip here:http://forum.fourthirdsphoto.com/showthread.php?t=39354 I really appreciate your time as you've struck me as sort of the jedi master of the 70-300, and I am as yet a lowly padawan, still learning the use of this lens and seeking better analogies.

Those are some nice shots. I can just see myself floating down the river on a hot summers day.
