Sold: Sigma 24mm f/1.8 lens in mint condition

Hi everyone,

Selling my Sigma 24/1.8 as I find I don't use it that much with all my other lenses in that focal length range (see signature). It's in mint condition with front & rear lens caps, lens hood, deluxe Sigma EX lens case, original box, instruction manual, warranty card, etc. The physical condition is mint. Glass is perfect, and there's no mould or spots inside.

I don't have many pics from this lens (which is why I'm selling it), but olyinaz has posted a nice gallery of the shots he took with his Sigma 24/1.8 here:

That is a great price, if it is anything like the 30/1.4 EX DC I have it is one sharp lens. I would be all over it if I didnt have the 30mm but it is so close I cant justify it to the boss. Good luck!

You're literally giving away the lens at that price. While not as popular as the 30 f/1.4, IMO, it's a better lens. I wouldn't consider selling mine at that price.

Thanks for the kind words Bill. I know... it's a little lower than I wanted to sell it for, but I originally wanted to sell it and the L1 quickly a few weeks ago before my vacation to free up some cash and tie up some loose ends before I left. So i reduced the price by another $20 to speed up the sale and I didn't feel right about raising it back up to $290 after my vacation.

To answer your question, I had just got an E-3 from another member here at the time so my camera fund was rather diminished!
(Thanks to Saskboyd for selling me the E3 btw!)

But I sold my E-500 and original kit lenses so I recouped a bit of funds now...

Well you know what they say (and this thread is a prime example of it where I think we all wish it was different)... it's all about timing. Whether it's nailing that perfect shot or getting a good deal online... it's all about timing.

Yes, timing is crucial for sure! That's how I was able to get Bill Gordon's E-3 & 12-60 lens combo deal...
