    Default In memoriam

They weren't around for long, and I didn't know their names, and I got them both in one thwack of the TV guide.

But they did give me a chance to test my brand new 35mm ZD macro, and what a fine lens it is! I know others give a close focus ability, but this is just another league ahead in the crisp detail and smooth tones it can give. Can't wait to try it on 'normal' scenes.

I think this photo will go well with a series of close focus images that I had already started, dealing with a type of obverse view of nature, the things we don't normally take notice of or choose not to look at closely.

E3, ZD 35mm, models lit by sunlight.

A very delicate image Steve even if the models were not the most beautiful available!

There is some really nice fine texture and tonal rendering, a lens that was next on my list for GV shooting.

Good shot with the shadows and the TV Guide.

Though not fond of the topic, I do like the composition and the long shadows.
