    A morning's worth of wanderings.






    All E-330 w/ sigma 30mm. Some channel mixer work in RAW Therapee. A lot, actually. Comments welcome.

    Hey, the fish one is pretty awesome, with the lines. Not such beautiful subject matter, but I like it a lot.

    The shades and contrast are very nice in all.

    I like the fish one as well (a fossil in the making?) the first one is nice as well

    I like them all but I think the seascape and possibly the fish would have been better in landscape mode.

    Nice conversions. I think the fish works ok in portrait mode, but I think I would have framed him more toward the lower right-hand corner. The stones and the shadow lines add a lot of interest, I really like it. I also like the Ivy on the tree trunk a lot.

    Thanks for the comments everyone.

    For some reason, Don, I seem to see just about everything in portrait orientation, except for occasional portraits. Funny how that works out.

    Yeah, I can see what you mean, Nate. I think I would have done that if I had thought more about it, though I'm not sure if the lens would focus close enough.

    Top one is classic. Fish reminds me of surrealism even though there is nothing surreal about it.

    I like the one with fish. I think, I would compose the fish a bit lower to get more of the sky.
