This is just awesome. This is my favorite of the ones you've posted here lately. Hope to see more of our neighborhood from you.

Wow! All your astonomy shots are really excellent. This is something I'm not likely to get into but I really enjoy seeing them. Must be clear down in Tucson, even our air quality in the evil empire to the north hasn't been too bad lately.

Beautiful shot of the seven sisters Oly! I agree, think this is my favorite as well. Is PhotoAcute a new stacking program?

Very nicely done. I look forward to more. You make me want to re-invest in telescopes but I must resist.

I really like this one, Oly, and I can see where astro-photography could become very addictive!

    Nice Job!!

After seeing the pictures of your equipment and the results you get, I have decided that after I win the lottery, I am going to buy the same thing.

    Oly,

    A notoriously difficult target.

I would like to see how well the G1 handles a long exposure to pick up some of the extensive blue nebulosity that lurks there - but then you'll have to deal with the blown out sisters ! - with masks etc

Just wondering if you can stretch some nebulosity out of the data you have there ?

    Cheers

    Rally,

There's not much left in those two. I need more subs and also some longer subs if I can pull it off without getting oblong stars.

    Thanks,
    Oly

I really appreciate your shots here, I have been fascinated by this stuff since childhood, never been able to afford the toys. Your making up for it for me. Thanks

Oly, I used to make regular pilgrimmages to Mt. Palomar when I lived in SoCal. As a matter of fact, the 200 inch reflector was the first thing I went to see when I moved there in 1979. I have had an abiding interest in astronomy since I was a kid. I have periodically (again as late as a few minutes ago after seeing your images) shopped for telescopes. The problem is that I don't like to stay up late, and I don't like being cold. Those are difficult problems to reconcile! I guess I'll settle for continuing to enjoy astronomy vicariously through your shots!

Thanks for sharing these. Keep 'em coming!
