    Default fl36 external battery pack

Hi i have 2x Vivitar 285's that i made external 6V battery packs for, these perform great. The bad news now is my FL36 is just so slow now and is nearly useless next to the 285's with the external packs in regards to recycle time. So i am wondering if anyone has made an external battery pack for the FL36.
    Cheers

people have certainly added another couple of AA batteries taking the total up to 4 but the primary issue with any such arrangement is that the flash head isn't rated much beyond the capabilities delivered by a couple of good modern AA units anyway - it will fail.
