Hi. I'm new to this site, having just found it yesterday. I'm impressed with the fantastic information and this contest looks like fun.
I enclose my entry:
"Strolling Barefoot beside the Pacific" shows my son and granddaughter on a bright day at 2:23pm near San Diego. The dark shadows show that the sun is almost overhead, but there's a more subtle shadow at about 90 degrees to the first which I find very interesting because I'm, not sure where the light source is, perhaps reflected light from the waves.
Olumpus E-3 with Zuicko 12-60mm Lens @ 21mm. Aperature priority, 1/2500, f3.5, ISO 100, white balance 5300K.
