    Default Hello from Raleigh, NC

Hello ladies and gents. I thought it was about time I registered for this site, after being a frequent lurker for some time.

I have been a four thirds user since April, 08, when I bought my E-410 and two kit lenses. Those are what got me into photography beyond the "auto" setting on my P&S. I've learned a lot, but still have a long way to go.

Recently I purchased the new E-620 and the 14-54 mk. II to boot. The fun begins all over with this fantastic combo, and as I look for a 50-200 to replace my 40-150.

I'll see you guys and gals around the forums.

Hello Joe and welcome to the premier 4/3 site. You are building up a nice kit.

Thanks, Bill. Unfortunately it's eating away at the finances of all my other super-expensive hobbies (golf, cycling, motorcycling, etc). I'm going to have to move in with the girlfriend just so I can afford more gear

Welcome, Joe. I'm glad you are liking photography so much and that you are a member of this family. Let us know from time to time how you are doing and of course if you have any problems to solve or questions to ask.

    Hello Joe,

I hope you are still enjoying your E-620.

Seeing as I'm in Apex and you're in Raleigh, do you happen to know if there are ever any Flickr meetups? The local groups on Flickr don't seem to have any meetups posted anymore, but that doesn't mean they don't happen.

    Have a good day!
