Default Olympus E-P1 went out today and shot with it

I got the E-P1 last night and started playing with it. Today I took it out for the Scott Kelby photowalk and took some shots. I will primarily be using this for street shooting mating it with a 15mm Voigtlander lens which is soon to arrive. Once that gets in here I will write another review and post some more pictures.

It was easily 100 degrees outside today and the camera body felt hot... I actually got an LCD warning about the heat! That was kind of weird, so I tucked in the camera and shot with film for a bit and took it out again later and everything was fine. Just an FYI for people who live in hot areas like myself... something to look out for.

    Here's my un-official part 1 review:

Nice review. I haven't noticed much in the way of distortion at 14mm. There might be a little bit there, but it's light years beyond my G10, which might as well be a fisheye at 28mm-e!

I live in the southwest and my E-P1 also overheated. It happened the first three times I used the camera. The temp was in the 90's and each time I made around 40 exposures in 15 - 30 mins.

I'm returning the camera and am anxious to see if its replacement will do better or not.

I shot one day in the low 90's and mine was fine. I hope this is a couple flaky bodies and not a larger problem. Perhaps the light-colored bodies aren't just for looks....
