July 3rd, 2011 - Swan Creek near my house. Handheld blind view pic with my E-510. I thought it turned out pretty well. :-)

    E-510, 1/30sec, 14-42@14mm (yeah, i need some cash for some lenses)... :-)

Canberra winters sunset - nothing special - I just liked the icy clouds.

Anyone want to guess how I got a Sunrise out of the California Coast.
I imagine you must have been shooting across the San Francisco Bay, or somewhere similar.

From my front door (oops, just realized this is a sunrise, not a sunset).

Here locally we have the second oldest Burr Oak tree in the nation. I love going to this old tree as it sits in between 2 farm fields with a road that goes right by it. This thing is big around.

I haven't been out to shoot a sunset in ages, so I ventured out the other evening to see what I could capture in pixels. Not a stellar shot, but I thought the combination of geese and a setting sun was pretty cool.

Although it was a cloudy, drab evening (Sept. 17/11), I decided to chase some icebergs. My journey took me to Westport, NL., where a few bergs were floating in the harbour.

After a few boring snaps I decided to explore a bit further. Returning about ten minutes later, I was greeted with this, as the sun broke through the clouds at the horizon.

Took this picture yesterday evening of the sunset over the North Fork of the Clark Fork River in northern Idaho. There were some impressive clouds.

You can see some of the old dock pilings leading to the railroad tracks where they used to load & unload trains way back in the day. This is pretty much straight from the camera, no crop, a little lightening, no saturation added.

Im not exactly sure how to post the images like you all are doing. I used the attach file methodin the chat form. At any rate I took this image Oct 14, 2011 with my E510 and Olympus 40-150mm f/4-5.6 ED Zuiko Digital lens.

Took this one south of Clermont Florida a few nights back.

Missed the best of it by about 5 minutes, but managed to get a few shots off before the sun went down.

Oooo some of these shots are absolutely lovely!!!

Below is a shot I took last month while we were on Isle of Mull in Scotland - it was a lovely sunset that night and it is a lovely island!

I hope I don't offend anyone for double posting this...

The sun had already set over Rodney Bay, St. Lucia when I went to the top of a mountain trying to get shots of the rising moon to the East. What was going on in the West was much more exciting!

This is a sunset in Paris, last may. What a beautiful city, and the view from the "Arc de Triomphe" is simply amazing.

In this shot, the sun is already pretty set... but the sky is still a bit colored...

    Thanks for viewing!
