Old Chet Atkins song - "I Still Can't Say Goodbye"

I walked by a Salvation Army store
Saw a hat like my daddy wore
Tried it on when I walked in
Still trying to be like him

I like the drama and composition of this shot.

It also brings back fond memories of my dad, on his days off from the CNR he always dressed in a suit complete with tie and hat

    Cheers, Don

Thanks Will, Toni and Don..and Don you didn't have to explain to me what CNR stood for (closet rail fan here) plus CNR bought out the Wisconsin Central so I had Canadian National trains running through my town for the last ten years.

    Thanks again for looking .

    Default My father

Happy Fathers Day. My Dad has been gone 30 years but I still miss him every day. Amazing thing is my son, who is 39, looks more and more like my Dad. I look in his eyes and see my Fathers. I guess things come full circle.
