Lightbulb Mirror image and one more

    Some history first:
On these two photos you can see the silhouette of the St. Nicholas fort which was built in 16th century as a naval fortification in the enterance of St. John's channel which connects town of Šibenik with the outer archipelago and the Adriatic Sea.

On the photo, just right of the fortification (on the other side of the channel) is a lantern/lighthouse which was built at the beginning of 20th century and serves as a beacon for ships entering the channel.

The channel is one of the most narrow and shallowest ones which makes it very difficult for large ships such as tankers and cruisers to navigate.

    Google maps location

    Now, back to the images

On this third image you can see the same thing but taken from the different location which now includes a part of the barbed fence which was placed there after the WW2 and during the times of Yugoslavia since it was a military base during those times, now deserted.
It played an important role during the Croatian war for independence and a very good movie was made about it (comedy).
