    Dominican Republic?

I was set to watch biathlon today as well! Latvians are not good at skiing anymore though, no snow this year either But silver in skeleton and 2x bronze in luge, not bad.

Plus we lost to Sweden in ice hockey, but it was a damn good match!

Did you see how the Slovakians played against the Russians. Made them look lame!
I was rooting for Durkurs, but Tretjyikof was just too good!

Didn't see the game against Russians! Can't be bothered to pay for satellite TV and the local TV only shows events with Latvians in it. The Slovak's are not a team to be taken lightly. No team in the Olympics is! Latvia has lost all games so far, but everybody that did beat us had to break quite a sweat for it!!

Dukurs is a 5x skeleton world cup winner (this year he won 6 out of 8 races) and definitely deserved the gold, but this is Tretiakov's home track. Nobody knows this one better than he does and it would be ridiculous if somebody just came and beat him at it.

South Korea hosts the next Winter Olympics and Russians have already made deals with Koreans, the track there will be Tretiakov's training track for the 2017-18 season. There certainly are advantages to coming from a large country!

With the weather like it is here, I would rather be somewhere in the Caribbean...

Damn, I know where this one is, but I'll be away for a week, so I won't say which town it is.

Elaine here. I have Daniel's permission to add something here. I think he may have thrown Tom what Hercule Poirot calls a red fish, because the special kind of "railroad" Daniel is thinking about was on another continent and a century earlier. Despite a certain similarity with the use made of the bridge, I don't think Daniel should be allowed to get away with this.
