Default Night landscapes of my weekend getaway

Small, quiet place with not much night life, on the plus side, it's nice to relax and wind blows often making it quite good for windsurfing, kitesurfing and sailing.

    Cheers,

Beautiful. I agree with Jim on the second one, really nice. What F-stop and shutter speed on that one? Thanks for sharing.

I like them all, nice stuff for sure, number 2 and 3 are my favorites with the white lights shining in the sky and the red light on the lighthouse...and red lights on the water...

    Good job...sharp as tacks...

    Hi Jim,
Thanks. The place is called Jadrija, it's a small resort next to my home town.
Around 100 years since first building started there, my grandfather made a weekend house there some 45-50 years ago, first row, 6-7 meters from the beach

Beautiful night images Marin, so hard to do right, and you sure have done.
I like the drama of the 7mm shot, and the laserlight beams in the others.
Could you share some general settings?
    Cheers,
    Don

Mar, love it, will hopefully getting to same this weekend in northern Maine, USA. we have an old lobster boat on land with big open sky and no lights, have been trying to shoot this for some time but always raining when I am up there, maybe this weekend...

    Oops, didn't see the questions

    Well, in shot #2 I used 14-35mm @14mm at f2 and ISO800.
Exposure time was set to 30s which is as long as I would go at 14mm to avoid more blurring of the stars.

The place where I shot it is pretty dark at night and there are no major light polluters around.

The most important thing is to be in a location free of major light pollution and to have clear sky with as little humidity as possible.

I imagine you can get much better shots somewhere up high in the mountains because air is finer and there's less light around not to mention it's colder and there's less air between you and the space.

I haven't tried stacking (which should also work well).
    Cheers,
    Marin
