    Default onOne Perfect Suite 6

There is a sale on right now for Perfect Suite 6 $100 off the regular price. Is it worth the money at $199? Or is there something better in the same price range?

I tried it out a while back as a demo and they keep sending me offers like I'm a paid up member.

I have been using Perfect Suit for three years and was very happy with versions up to Perfect Suit 6 This new version (although very good in substance) has been a nightmare within CS5. The first release crashed when selected within CS5 (WIN version) release 6.01 seemed to fix that now version 6.02 is crashing in CS5 again. I have emailed support 11 times with poor responce and no fix yet. I have given up and reinstalled back to version 6.01 which is usable except for Perfect resize which for some reason now dosnt show image within CS5.
This program works as it should when used as a stand alone program however my workflow uses CS5.
Just my experience however it has not been good.

I deleted all my Onone software at a loss of $. Just couldn't deal with it anymore and the non existent support model.

    But that's just me.

    Hi John,

...over the last couple months I've been using onOne Perfect Suite 6, with the latest updates, and it works quite well on my version of CS5, haven't had any issues at all now. Earlier on, after I'd made the switch to Win7, there were a lot of problems and I contacted their service guys who made every effort to get things working for me. I started out with Suite 5 and moved up to Perfect Suite 6 the end of last year. I believe they're sincere in their effort to provide a good post processing product to the market, and the latest version that they're offering is an example of that - as far as I'm concerned, as you well know from this forum we all have our differing opinions...
    cheers,

I've not had any trouble interacting with CS5 and the help and response from the onOne folks has been great as far as I'm concerned! They offered me a deal and I called them to see if they would sell the whole suite for $149 (I only owned re-size and photo frame professional at the time) and they were more than happy to accommodate me so I feel that I got a great deal. I like the software a lot but still learning it at this point! Give them a call and see what they could do for you, it can't hurt!
    Best Regards, Jim

Thanks Jim, I may do that or I might look at Nik Silver Efex Pro, since I am most interested in the B&W rendering. Just though Perfect Suite might be worth the investment, but I can only spread the money so far right now.
