    Default Sharp Shined Hawk

Was delighted to see a sharp shined hawk at a local wildlife refuge Saturday while photographing other birds. He flew in presumably looking for a bite to eat. Kind of like the eyes on this guy.

Had one in my backyard a couple of weeks ago. Sure stopped all the action around our bird feeders.
Nice capture, very sharp. All I was able to get was a slightly out of focus quick shot.

Very nice shot! I love the composition and how one branch is arching over the bird.
And you can see both his orange eyes.

Appreciate what we have, instead of worrying about what we haven't. Enjoy what is, before it isn't.
