    Default OMD EM5 First Images

Yes, I am a new proud owner of the EM5. After being an E3 user for many years my photography friends expected me to wait for the EM1. I love the retro style of the EM5 and I got in on the summer sales prices just before they ended.

I'm still getting familiar with the camera but I thought I'd share some images I took at workshop.

The B&W was done under studio strobes that were set up for full frame cameras at f/5.6, ISO 100. I used the Pany 25mm, f/1.4 and I shot it at f/8, iso 200. The other two images were shot under continuous lights. I The color pic with the sword was slightly cropped. The other color pic is cropped a bit more and I mess with selective exposure in Lightroom to brighten her face. All of these were shot with the Oly 75mm, f/1/8, wide open at f/1.8, iso 200.

I really like the third shot. Nice catchlight in her eyes.

I agree with John, the third image is wonderful. That shot maximizes her presence. A beautiful shot of a beautiful woman.

The second shot is also impressive, more wistful, but still powerful.

A nice series, I like the first one because it has the period look to it!
The weapon makes her look like someone you would not want to trifle with... LOL!
Is the model of Persian decent??
