Default Adult Great Horned Owl --One Of My Best Wildlife Shots

This will be one of my all-time favorite shots, due to the way it turned out plus how difficult it is to get a good shot of these big owls. The mother owl was hanging around the general area of the nest; they feed the young owlets for perhaps a couple of months after they have learned to fly, even after they move quite a ways from where they hatched.

She certainly was aware of your presence, love that penetrating stare.
