    Default Young Red Fox

Found a red fox den, but it's not really a very photogenic situation. Did get this one pic.

Glad you found a den, the 2 I found have been barren for the last 3 years

Nice shot Ken, it looks very peaceful and I think the grass in front gives the image a wild feel as you are obviously hidden from the pup? or is it a cub? for foxes?

Too bad about the empty dens, Jim. The worst scenario --and, unfortunately, the most likely one-- is that some idiot shot them. Happens all the time. Saw a bumper sticker today that proclaimed, "If it's brown, it's down!" Apparently, the driver shoots almost anything and is proud of it.
I may get a few more pics of the kits as they venture farther from the den.
