Nightime experiment gone well

While on a fishing /camping trip the last six days, we had an "issue" with a neighbor in the next camp spot,
running a very loud generator half the night, so sleeping was out of the question for a while.
Out come the tripod and the E5 to play with the stars dancing above my boat.
Shot with the E5 and 11-22 @ 15mm, ISO800, 60 second exposure at f/ 6.3
Noise clean up in the E5 is a breeze compared to the E510

Very nice Jim! looks like a great spot for night sky.. we have loads of light pollution here.. you should try a milky way shot, or shooting some meteor showers

Very nice capture, Jim. Next time we come up, we're determined to plan far enough ahead to spend at least one night in the park so I can do some sunrise, sunset and night shooting. Maybe by then I'll have a new body to deal with the noise I'd get with the good old E-510.
