Default Olympus 75-300MM II Micro 4/3rds lens is SOLD

Again, I am not going to be using my Olympus cameras for birding any more, unless the 300MM F4 ends up being able to track BIF, so I am selling my 75-300MM lens, This has seen little use and is like new, However it appears a couple small flecks of dust are inside front element, but does not affect images, they actually may be on outside of lens but I will leave cleaning to buyer.
both lens caps and this has a Hoya UV (0) filter which has always been on the lens since I bought it as well in original box and also will include after market hood
Asking 450.00 Shipped to CONUS sold for 400.00

I'd hold off a little. Olympus announced new E-M1 firmware coming up, specifically mentioning improved CAF tracking.

Not that I know whether it will work for you, but it seems possible that Olympus is working on this aspect of the camera's performance.

They also have announced a dot sight viewfinder, which might be exactly what you need.

I am keeping the EM-1, however even if it improves C/AF I will probably not use this lens as it is just too slow for BIF at f.6.3, I may however get the 300 F4 if it turns out to be capable enough to keep track of a fast bird and lock focus fast enough, has a focus limiter and is not too far out of reach price wise...
