    Default Lime

Trying out the 4/3 50mm macro on the em1.
The sun peeped from behind a cloud and lit this lime on our tree, so I spot metered as the background was unnecessary.
I find that I am having to do less pp with this camera, and for sharpening I used high pass filter with linear light.

Nice light ! I love front lit subjects.

You might want to consider, either completely eliminating the top leaf with a tighter crop, or lowering it's exposure value with the adjustment brush,(closer to the bottom leaves). I think it's higher brightness tends to draw my eye away from your subject .

At first I preferred the second option as the leaf, thorns and general harshness (if you know what I mean) of the whole makes a lime tree to me.
However I think the tighter crop might be the one.
Thanks for the heads up .

Good composition, although I feel the same about the upper leaf (unless you can darken it some?). My eyes kept darting back and forth between that and the lime. Other than that I thinks it's a pleasing shot.

Appreciate what we have, instead of worrying about what we haven't. Enjoy what is, before it isn't.
