    Default Wanted: Private Rental

Hi there. It's been ages since I've been here to the forum. So long, that most of my gear (Oly E500 & E520) is seemingly obsolete.

I'm going to be doing a storm chasing class/trip/tour next spring and really need something more than my kit lens and an uber slow 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6. I have been researching rentals online, but can only find the newer pro series stuff.

I would love to be able to score a rental of a 300 f/2.8 (yes I saw the one here for sale @ $3,000, but that's beyond my budget for a probably one time event).

If anyone has any ideas about where I might be able to find such a rental . . . or are willing to enter a personal rental arrangement, please contact me.

    Best wishes,

Borrowlenses.com seems to still have classic 4/3rds lenses to rent: https://www.borrowlenses.com/product/olympus_300mm

Lensrentals.com seems to have eliminated their classic 4/3rds lenses from the lineup.

I'll go with Michael's idea for a little over $400 bucks and I would grab the damage insurance also. I also see you can grab a E-5 as well.

    Good Luck and have fun.

Thanks! I did find some options at BorrowLenses.

    I appreciate your input,
