    Default Magazines

Firstly I would like to wish everyone all the compliments of the season and a healthy and happy 2017.
    Secondly, magazines.
For 2016 I subscribed the Shutterbug, Outdoor Photography and Digital Photo Pro.
I am in the process of renewing my subscriptions and I was wondering what, if any, magazines you read on a regular basis and if you feel that you could recommend them.

    Merry Christmas

    Guy

Rangefinder is pretty good and you can get a free subscription. I get Popular Photography and I get Professional Photographer with my PPA membership. I let my subscription to Digital Photo Pro lapse, I didn't feel like I got that much out of it.

I subscribe to Popular Photography and Outdoor Photographer. I am thinking about letting my Outdoor Photographer subscription lapse. It is always about places I know I'll never be able to go to, and often VERY specific about those places, so I don't seem to get much out of it.

I am quoting my post above because the very latest issue of Outdoor Photographer, which came a few days after I made that post, contains an entire page about Salisbury State Reservation (MA), which is about 10 miles from my house. Now that's service! Guess I'll have to renew my subscription!

Unfortunately, Popular Photography magazine just went belly-up:

    https://www.dpreview.com/news/805032...early-80-years

That link is to a website that probably helped make it go belly-up. So, eventually there probably won't be any print photo mags, IMHO. Too bad.
