I just logged back in after YEARS! I am looking to purchase some 4/3s gear again. I tried everything else and LOVE the old school 4/3s
shooting fuji X10 and X-S1 at the moment.
Soon to have an e-3, e-30, e-620 and e-410 bodies with a bunch of glass. I can't wait to be back with the E-System.

I enjoy reading all the posts, but a stroke left me with difficulty typing; so I seldom post any more even though I'm still visiting the website.

I look in from time to time, but there doesn't seem to be much going on. Should we try to resurrect this site?
My 4/3 cameras have now been retired to the Old Camera Museum in my lounge room and I am now using an Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mk III with an E-M1 Mk II as a backup camera. I have slowly been building up my collection of micro 4/3 lenses, mainly Olympus PRO lenses, although the new 150-400 mm will be totally out of my price range. The Olympus 100-400mm lens suits my needs very nicely. I haven't been getting out much to take photos. - Too much going on at work. But I am now on holiday until 18 Jan 2021 and so I'll hopefully get out to play.

I see that your photos still haven't been approved. Marie Celeste? Possibly. Maybe the moderators are on holiday.

That link should be to a photograph on Flickr. I was talking Mark (Saggitarian) through posting a photo in the same way that I usually do and the photo appeared to come up in the preview. How should we post photos?
Edit: I was looking back at a series of posts that I made about the Olympus 4/3 12-60 mm SWD lens back in 2015 and notice that I started using this method of posting a link to Flickr as I felt that too much definition was being lost in decreasing the size of the photo so that it could be uploaded to this site. At least this way, if the viewer clicks on the image, they can be led through to the Flickr site and view the image at full uploaded resolution. It also places less load on this server.

Im coming back...again. I am starting to collect some 4/3s gear after christmas. Can't get away from it! I love the system, and just feel comfortable with it.

I'm here, doing my once a year pop-in, to see if there is still a pulse.
I have to admit that as cameras have gotten better and better, the enjoyment factor has not kept up at all with the technological progress. As I look back, the Olympus 4/3 system was far from what it could have blossomed into, but it was the most fun with a camera that I ever had. That was a time of optimism and promise.
To find the answers - question them!

Agreed Pavel. I feel the same way.

Yep, I'm still around. Slowly growing my E-1 system, as lenses and stuff are cheap . Looking for a deal on an E-3, all the time. As long as I can print , great 11x14's , those 5MP on the E-1 are fine with me. I've noticed on YT, an increase interest in flim and dug out my old Olympus Stylus Epic 80 and Infinity IQZoom 330. Running B&W film , processing and scanning myself. Stay safe all. KB.

I like my 43 gear so much I can't bring myself to convert to m43. I like the way the bodies handle in my hands, and I have a lot of good glass. I have had good luck with used 43 items from KEH camera. When I damaged my E-3 , The used E-5 I bought was almost like new.

Wow ! surprised today. Went on KEH and found a E-30, apparently , just posted . It was $165, EX. It's on the Fedex truck, heading my way . I've been buying all my used gear from KEH , since the late 80's. They are very conservative with their grading . Picked up a 50mm Macro and 9-18 zoom, last year, both EX, and they look new .KB

I'm here. Even the forums at DPReview seem a lot slower than they used to be. Are people actually using their gear rather than talking about it?![]()
I'm using mine, again. KB
